Turns out they weren't lying so far. What's anyone supposed to think, when they pull just one person out for "special training"? It was already getting bad in there. A new law comes down--maybe--saying prisoners with powers and no Academy records are gonna get trained.

It's not that people in CPC Max are much more out of their minds than Sith are. I've seen both. It's just that there was an established order of things, and then suddenly that gets all tossed out the airlock. And then you add in the trainers themselves, who are probably rejects or weirdos if you end up getting assigned to train the finest minds of the Capital Prison Complex.

I got lucky, at least. Unlike some of the poor scum in there, it turns out I actually had enough power to make a decent run of it. I still don't know why it never properly showed up before, though. There were moments. But it was all small stuff. Drugs could mess with it, but I didn't start those until the family stopped caring about keeping me locked up in the house. Could've been the house itself, something they were feeding me, or just being a half-mandalorian bastard slows it down. Been over it all before, and it hasn't gotten any clearer.

And if it had to manifest at any moment, I'm glad it gave me the drop on Kyrron. Feeling how much pain he was in made the burns and broken ribs all worth it.

Also, hello diary, I suppose. They actually gave me a datapad when I asked for one, and this is a long flight. Lots of military checkpoints, I think, we keep dropping out of hyperspace. We'll see if writing this becomes a habit.
